The Tranx 150 utilizes a HAGANE metal body, perfect for enhanced durability while also reducing flex throughout the reel during its use. With reduced flex, each handle turn provides minimal power loss, while also improving internal life within the reel as gears and other components are stabilized. Shimano's CoreProtech technology, a hydrophobic protective coating that causes water to bead up, was implemented in critical areas to reduce and eliminate water intrusion, much needed for inshore environments.
