With a full metal body and side plate, these reels are outfitted with a brass main gear and bearing support pinion which offers a substantial drivetrain for maximum power delivery. A TiN coated level wind system and synchronized drag and level wind system (on only the 400 sizes) give the extra durability and strength needed under high drags. Its dual action casting breaking system provides for easy finetuning for great backlash free casting distance with minimal effort. For the inshore/nearshore market, the Fathom Low Profile Reels are a great rugged option to tackle the widly diverese species we have lurking our waters.
