The Patternoster rig is used just about everywhere from the estuaries, to the beach, off the rocks, freshwater and out to sea. Its main claim to fame is that it is designed not to get snagged as much when drifting over rough terrain.

Instinct Patternoster rigs comprise of a length of line with a swivel at one end and a loop to attach a sinker at the other. Two shorter lines with a hook at the ends are attached to this main line to provide positions for a top bait and bottom bait.
